About the classes:

ZEN AND THE ART OF LINDY HOP:

Having trouble leading or following your partner though transitions and
turns. Find your ability to lead or follow unclear. Confused what frame
is or why you turns and spins are unbalanced? Do you want your dancing
to flow naturally with little effort, Come to my workshop and explore
how thousands of years of martial arts principles can help your dance.
This workshop will teach both leaders and followers to make smooth,
seamless transitions between patterns by applying the principles of
martial arts. You will learn what it means to move from the "center" as
well as develop a feeling of grounding and connection. This workshop
will move your dancing to a new level where your dancing is fluid,
   graceful and effortless.Intermediate/Advanced level.

COMBAT LINDY (survival on the social dance floor):

This workshop is about awareness, control, skill and strategies of
floorcraft. How to survive and prevent injury on the social dance
floor. Instead of randomly leading or following, you will learn how to
skillfully direct your follow or lead out of harms way. How to prevent
kicking injuries to yourself or others around you. How good connection
   can keep you both safe.

  STEALING AND SWITCHING PARTNERS:

Learn the Art of Stealing and Switching Partners in Lindy hop on the
social dance floor. We will show you how to steal or constantly switch
the lead or follow from your partner or another couple without missing
a beat. We will also explain the stealing and switching etiquette,
skill and philosophy that is a uniquely a San Francisco art form.
